Base Camp with Carmen is an introduction to Hatha Yoga, teaching you the fundamental shapes and actions of the Asanas (poses or postures of yoga). This 3-hour workshop provides a basic understanding of the technique and principles of yoga.

You will learn, in detail, about each pose and receive simple instructions suitable for everyone’s ability and skill. We focus on standing poses to build strength and ease of movement, increase general vitality and improve circulation, coordination, and balance. Postures for deep relaxation are also introduced.

You will also learn Sun Salutation A, which is a flow to warm up your body and stretch your muscles gently before you continue with more intense postures.
