So what’s the big idea? Babywearing yoga is what it sounds like: Yoga practice while wearing your baby in a baby carrier. You can use any carrier you like: a ring sling, a wrap, or a soft structured carrier. Whatever you have! The poses will be gentle, and modified to suit babywearing.
Babywearing Yoga has been shown to have tremendous benefits for both mom or dad and child including relaxation and bonding, you can truly share a special experience with your child. We will use a combination of music, dancing, and active postures to strengthen the body and release negativity while exposing children to the peaceful practice of yoga. Babies are not required to stay in the carrier during the entirety of class. Ideally suited for bus 3 – 12 months of age. Mums or Dads are welcome. Please ensure mum have confirmed with your midwife or doctor before resuming any physical activities.
