A short while ago we asked a few of the amazing people, whom I had the joy of  teaching yoga, about their experience and how yoga has benefited them. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to help people become the best versions of themselves and witness the benefits that come with a regular yoga practice.

Yoga is a very personal journey. It doesn’t matter where others are at in their practice. What matters is that you learn to reconnect with yourself. Do what you can in each given moment. Most people have forgotten how good their body is designed to feel. Surely, yoga can be challenging, especially when first getting started, but just remember that if it doesn’t challenge you it doesn’t change you. When was the last time you really challenged yourself in your life? A positive challenge can help us feel alive again.

The way I like to describe yoga is this:

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”

The happiness we seek in our lives is not out there, it resides within us and can only be found by turning inward. Carmen
