As a mother of two I practice and teach Yoga because it helps me stay present. When I am present, I have the opportunity to appreciate the beautiful things around me rather than worrying about the past or future. The most rewarding thing about being a teacher is having the opportunity to share my passion for the Yoga practice. Although we hold the title “Yoga Coach”, we are students of the practice for life. I find true joy in being a part of a Yogi’s journey but find that I learn something from all of my fellow yogis and students as well. It is most rewarding when you see the Yoga practice start to change someone’s life whether it is through weight-loss, injury recovery, or even just a change in outlook and lifestyle.
We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to travel the world and meet so many different people. It is all of these people that make being a Yoga teacher so gratifying.
Setting time aside for yourself to practice what you love is what makes all the difference. It is a time to grow, to open the mind, and to begin to see ourselves in purest form.
